Sherborne In Bloom encourages and promotes environmental initiatives throughout the town.

In particular, we support a ‘peat free’ environment and encourage people to use home-grown compost or organic alternatives. Garden waste which is taken to the Sherborne Waste Management Centre is recycled into compost and sold back to the community.

We also support and encourage the use of water butts and the use of mulching in efforts to conserve water.

Environmental issues are an important part of Sherborne In Bloom.
