Sherborne In Bloom!

The ‘In Bloom’ movement is about much more than beautifying our environment – it’s also about managing our environment to promote responsibility and sustainability in order to preserve our environmental heritage.

Sherborne has an excellent waste management centre based in West Mill Lane where household waste can be taken for recycling:

As shown, in May 2010, 85% of the waste delivered to the centre was recycled. That’s quite impressive!

Sherborne In Bloom will continue to work with the community to encourage more people to dispose of their waste responsibly and to recycle as much as possible.
