Crocuses on Kitt Hill

Spring has come late to Sherborne this year because of the cold winter we’ve been having. But a hopeful sign that spring has at last sprung is the appearance of the crocuses alongside the busy A30 on Kitt Hill:

And we can see the daffodills leaves starting to appear too, so hopefully they will not be long behind.  All we want now is for the temperature to rise and Sherborne will bloom again!

South West In Bloom
This year the town was unable to compete in the South West in Bloom competition, after reaching and maintaining the highest standard of excellence winning four GOLD awards over four consecutive years; bringing to the town the highest accolade it can gain. There is much hope that next year the town can rejoin the competition and go one step further and reach the national UK Britain in Bloom finals.
